So you’ve been working out to one of our workout routines and you arent seeing the weight loss that you were hoping. Is it Day 12? Day 20? “She’s so little and frail”, I thought to myself earlier this week as my sweet little 87 year old mother in law was being put into an ambulance after having fallen. As I chatted with the 7 or 8 paramedics/firemen who were helping her – GREAT GUYS working to save lives in the Fire Department of La Verne, CA! – I wondered how things might have gone differently if she, and those in her generation, knew what we know now about osteoporosis and weight bearing activity (lifting weights) and calcium magnesium intake. True, as we get older, our bones become more brittle, but thats why we TAKE those supplements and exercise regularly – in order to slow the process of aging and depleting key nutritional components our bodies need to function properly.
